What are you really good at? Do you know?
Finding your zone of genius will save you from the tragedy of being lukewarm/ average at things you had the power to be GREAT at.
The best way to find your “thing” is through curiosity, self-introspection and rigorous trial and error. I found mine but it took time.

I recommend answering the following questions.
1. What do I love doing? (Tasks you always gravitate towards)
2. What can I do effortlessly? (Things that don’t feel like work)
3. What do people say I am good at? (Start taking note of feedback/compliments you receive. We can identify what people are good at, and people can also see that in us and offer clues/ insights)
4. What have I received positive feedback for in school/ life/ professional settings?
5. When is my mind most at flow? (Flow state is when time seems to stand still, and you are focused on a task)
6. What am I curious about and can do for hours? What do I know so much about? What do I always find myself researching on?
7. What can I do without being paid, and I would still get some mental reward for?
8. What is a consistent pattern/ red thread in my professional life? What roles/ projects did I excel at, and what did they have in common?
These questions will give you clarity.
And once you find your gift, nurture, improve and incorporate it into your life. Own it confidently. Use it to differentiate, grow, and better yourself, work, life, and community.
